Frequently asked questions
- Who's hosting the event? That'll be me. I'm Lucy Parsons. I empower 15-18 year olds to get the top grades and into the best universities. I got 5 A Grades at A-Level then went on to study at Cambridge University. After that I became a teacher. When I wrote my UCAS statement I was accepted to all the universities I applied to – all of them top-notch institutions (UCL, Durham, Nottingham, Edinburgh and St Andrews as well as an interview at Cambridge).
- How do I attend the live event? Once you've signed up, I'll send you a link to where the event it taking place. At the time of the event (8pm, 30th June 2016), just click on the link and you'll be there. It's probably best to view it on a desktop or laptop computer, but you'd be able to see it on a tablet or smart phone.
- How does it work? It's basically a live video stream from my computer to yours. You'll be able to see me and anything that I want to show you on the screen. We can meet each other in cyber-space. You can even ask questions! I use Google Hangouts on Air to broadcast the workshop.
- How much does it cost? Nothing, it's free!
- Do I need anything else? Nope. Although, if you've got a Google account (Google+ or Gmail) then it's not a bad idea to be signed in to that while you view the webinar.
